Blanche, 31 Dec. 1873-5 Jan 1874, continued as log of H.M.S. Pearl, 5 Jan 1874-31 Oct. 1874. Covers voyages among Pacific islands and from Sydney to Port Dalrymple, Tasmania; H.M.S. Blanche, 5 Nov. 1874-18 Nov. 1875. Covers voyages from Sydney to New Zealand and among Pacific islands and from Sydney to Portsmouth via Cape Horn. 2. Letters, 22 Oct. 1837-14 June 1843, 20 Jan. 1854-29 Nov. 1854, mainly from Horatio Walpole to Frederick Walpole but including letters to Mrs Walpole. Deal mainly with domestic matters. 3. Account book 23-25 Nov. c.18-, kept in Rome, presumably by a member of the Walpole family. Incomplete.
